Mor Fest 2026 Lineup: Your Day by Day Guide
The Mor Fest lineup is in, and it settles the question of which day is for what. Five days, August 19 to 23 at Tara Mor in Midtown Manhattan, and each one now has a shape of its own, rather than five identical nights of music.
Wednesday: Céad Míle Fáilte, the official opening
The week opens at 6:30pm with Céad Míle Fáilte, the official Mor Fest opening, Irish dancing, a cocktail hour and Irish styled canapés marking the official launch of five days celebrating modern Ireland.
Thursday: community and comedy
Thursday starts with an Irish Community Networking Breakfast, 7am to 10am, built for Irish community groups, charities, business networks and leaders over a hearty Irish breakfast. It runs on its own RSVP, separate from general festival entry, so anyone who wants a seat should email info@morfestnyc.com by August 17. The day proper picks up at 7pm with the Modern Ireland Panel, James Kavanagh and Cassie Stokes taking a real look at what Ireland is now rather than what it used to be. Comedy follows at 8pm with Owen Colgan and a lineup of local Irish comics, and Marty Healy closes the night with live music at 10pm.
Friday: music into sport into music
Friday runs almost twelve hours end to end. Andrew Dolan opens with live music at 4pm, Marty Healy returns at 6pm, and at 8:30pm the sports panel takes over with Michael Murphy, Johnny Glynn and Jayson Quigley, three names Irish sport fans in this city will know well. Murphy in particular needs no introduction to anyone who follows Donegal football, and his panel appearance sits well alongside our own GAA coverage on the site. The Young Wolfetones take the main slot at 10pm, and DJ Mikey Valid closes it out at 1am for anyone still standing.
Saturday: wellness by day, party by night
Saturday flips the format on its head. The morning is given over to wellness, 8:30am sessions with Trinity Gym and Sláinte Retreats, yoga, a fitness class and a healthy breakfast, a genuinely different pace to the rest of the week. By 9pm the tone has changed entirely, a dating show from the Shift App takes the evening slot with Ronan Mitchell hosting, followed by live music from Steph Hurley at 10:30pm and a DJ set carrying the night to close.
Sunday: the competition and the closer
Sunday belongs to the traditions. The Guinness Perfect Pour Competition runs at noon, bartenders judged on the two part pour the standard was built on. An all day trad session follows at 4pm, the kind of session that does not need a stage to work. At 8pm, Niall Quinn joins us for a live interview, the former Republic of Ireland international sitting down to talk football and more with the room. The closing ceremony at 10pm brings the five days to an end.
Picking your day
If sport is what brings you, Friday is the one, Michael Murphy, Johnny Glynn and Jayson Quigley on the panel and The Young Wolfetones after. If it is the community side of things you are after, Thursday's networking breakfast and Modern Ireland panel are built for that. Saturday is two festivals in one day, calm in the morning, loud by midnight. And Sunday is the day for anyone who wants their Mor Fest to end on Guinness, a trad session and Niall Quinn.
Food and drink show up throughout the week, at every session, not tucked off to the side, so whichever day you pick, there is no wrong time to come hungry or thirsty. Including our famous Irish Spice Bag, and what many call, the best Pint of Guinness in NYC.
Tickets for the full five days are live on Eventbrite now, general admission and a VIP option with an open bar across the week. The networking breakfast on Thursday needs a separate RSVP to info@morfestnyc.com by August 17. Full festival and venue details are on the main Mor Fest page.
